Wise Body, Radiant Mind, Open Heart ~ Yoga Day Retreat for Women in Menopause

Sunday 23 August | Mundaring Hills

You’re in the middle of your life, and your body is changing in ways no one prepared you for. Sleep is restless. The menopause hot flushes come without warning. Old triggers and grief are surfacing — things you thought were settled are asking to be met again. And you don’t know who you are anymore. But there are also moments when your intuition is astounding, you feel empowered and you begin to see life and relationships differently.

Menopause is an intense yet exciting time for women. It is a rite of passage. It’s the time when we catch up and get real with ourselves – and lean into the women we are becoming.

Join Natalie in the serenity of Mundaring for an intimate day that’s dedicated to your physical rest, learning and to cultivating a deeper connection with Self. This yoga day retreat is an invitation to quieten the nervous system and to uncover the wisdom and joy of perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

When lived consciously, menopause holds enormous promise for healing and transforming our bodies, minds and spirits at the deepest levels.

A Day to Come Home to Yourself

Wise Body, Radiant Mind, Open Heart ~ A Yoga Day Retreat for Women in Menopause is a day designed just for midlife women.

What the day offers you:

  • Time to rest in a quiet bushland setting, away from the demands of daily life.
  • Yogic practices to balance the nervous system and ease physical tension — asana, kriya, breathwork, mantra and meditation.
  • A nourishing vegetarian lunch and a reflective walk in nature.
  • A grounded understanding of what menopause is, drawing on both evidence-based research and holistic living practice.
  • Practical, empowering tools to take home — a short pranayama sequence, a restorative posture, a simple heart meditation.
  • The rare experience of sitting in circle with women walking the same passage.

Is this Day Retreat for You?

You may be in early perimenopause, noticing the first signs that something has shifted. You may be deep in it, heat rising, patience and sleep fracturing, wondering who you are becoming. You may be through the other side and wanting to ease your way forwards.

Wherever you are along the menopause journey, this retreat is for you if you recognise yourself in any of the following:

  • You’re ready to meet your body as a teacher, not a problem to fix. You’re tired of the symptom-management conversation. You want to understand what’s actually happening — physiologically, energetically, spiritually — and you’re willing to listen to the body’s intelligence rather than override it.
  • You want the yogic perspective, not just the medical one. You sense there is inner strength and wisdom in this passage that the conversation about HRT doesn’t address. You’re curious about pranayama for the nervous system, restorative postures for sleep, mantra and meditation for the inner terrain, kriya for the energetic clearing that this time seems to demand.
  • You’re feeling things you didn’t expect to feel. Old grief surfacing. Anger that surprises you. A hunger to slow down. A strange new clarity about what you will and won’t tolerate. You want a frame for this — one that doesn’t pathologise it.
  • You’re ready to be honest with yourself. This is not a pamper day. There will be rest, nature and nourishing food, but there will also be practice, stillness, and the kind of inner attention that brings things to the surface when you’ve been too busy to feel. And you’re willing to meet that.
  • You’re a woman in midlife — roughly 45 to 65 — looking for honest company. You don’t want a webinar. You don’t want a panel of experts. You want to sit in a circle of women who are in it too, who aren’t pretending, who are willing to be honest about what is hard and what is beautiful here.

About Your Facilitator

Natalie Snooke has been a practitioner of daily yoga and meditation since 2005 and has guided women through coaching, classes and retreats for over twenty years. Her teachings are rooted in traditional hatha-vinyasa yoga, bhakti (devotional practice) and more recently, Himalayan kriya yoga.

Natalie’s work has always been to prioritise one thing: the slow, lived path of becoming who you actually are, beneath the roles and conditioning. She comes to this retreat not as an expert standing outside the passage of menopause, but as a woman walking through it herself — finding and sharing the life approaches, practices and perspectives that she’s found most beneficial.
